About
The student voice at Hoggard.
Elected by students, run by students, open to every student who walks in.
Our mission
Student council is by the students, for the students.
We will lead an effort to create a culture of acceptance and inclusion at school, seeking wide membership, welcoming expression of varied views, and engaging with other clubs, schools, and organizations. We will improve student life by creating opportunities for a richer school experience through service and improvement projects, awareness drives, and celebratory events.
How it works
01
Officers
President, vice president, and secretary — responsible for running meetings and school-wide events.
02
Class councils
Members join a class council based on their grade level. Each grade — Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior — has its own officers: President, Vice President, and Secretary.
03
Student body officers
A separate group of Student Body officers — also President, Vice President, and Secretary, elected school-wide each spring — oversees and runs the club as a whole.
Student body officers
Elected school-wide each spring. They run council meetings and lead school-wide events, alongside the officers each class elects for itself.
