How to join

If you are a student at Hoggard, you can join Student Council anytime throughout the school year.

There are no GPA requirements for membership.

There's no set order to follow — come to a meeting, fill out the application, or both, whenever works for you.

Officer elections

Joining council is separate from becoming an officer. Each class elects its own President, Vice President, and Secretary, and the student body elects its own three officers school-wide each spring.

Viking Spirit Initiative

The Viking Spirit Initiative offers Student Council members an opportunity to gain hours by going to less popular sporting events. Every sport deserves an audience and we want to show some school spirit! Gain 1 hour by attending the game and an extra 30 minutes for making a sign. You MUST provide photo evidence and submit your hours form within 1 week of the event. Hours forms are on your class page.
